Marrakech – Asni – Agoursiwal – Imnan Valley – Tachedirt, night in guest house After breakfast our driver and guide will come to pick you up from your riad by minibus or jeep, Our trekking will begin from Agursiwal . from Marrakech will take the way through Tahanout – Moulay brahim gorge - And Asni where the big weekly souk is held, from where we will take such of this things that needs such bread and meat , then will continue to reach Aguersiwal village at 1600m, where we will meet the driver mules and our personal chef cook, will help them to hold or luggage, after this we’ll start our adventure up zigzags through Tizi Ouguersiwal pass at 2000m Offering an amazing view over the high the imnan valley and mountain slop, after this we will continue up progressively along the imnan valley and passing though more traditional berbere villages; after this we will Enjoy a freshly lunch cooked by our personal chef cook, later after lunch will continue to reach Tachdirt villages which is the highest villages in this valley at 2300m, overnight in guest house Duration 05 hours of walking / Elevation Gain 814m / Loss 200m)
Tachdirt – Tizi n’Likemt 3555m– Azib Likemt We immediately begin a long, slow ascent to the pass at Tizi Likemt (3555m). At the top we enjoy our first fine view of the Toubkal Massif before a long downhill descent to the corals of Azib Likemt (2200m), where we set up our camp for the night. Duration: Approx 6hs trekking / elevation Gain 1250 m, Loss 1300m
Azib Likemt – Tizi n’Ouaray 3100m – Amsouzart This day is going to be a long but quite easy day, passing many different landscapes. From Tizi ‘n Ououraine (3120m) we enjoy further views of the Toubkal Massif, including the summit, the east face and the Ifni Dome (3876m). The trail leads on towards Amsouzert (1700m), one of the most striking villages in the region, where we spend the night in a local gite or in a camp. The gite is very basic accommodation. Amsouzart – Assif N’Ezli – Lac d’ifni West of Amsouzert are several small villages, which we explore as we make our way towards Ifni Lake (2300m), the only lake in the Massif. It is a memorable sight, surrounded by Rocky Mountains and giant heaps of rubble, and is unusually deep. We expect to arrive by lunchtime and spend the afternoon relaxing at the shore. Lac D’ifni – Tizi n’Ouanoums 3664m – Toubkal peak 4167m By now we should be both fit and acclimatised, and ready to tackle the hardest day of the trek. We make our way along a steep path that leads up a seemingly endless scree slope. At length we reach the pass at Tizi n’Ouanoums (3664m), a narrow ledge between two shafts of rock, from here we will continue our challenge up scrabbling to reach Toubkal west at 4036m, and from here will have another 40 minutes the top roof of the high atlas which is Toubkal 4167m, where we enjoy beautiful views of the entire Atlas range and the Marrakech plains beyond, just after coffee break and nutes will get twisty route down hills to reach basecamp of Toubkal a 3200m, overnight in refuge, Duration: Approx 9hs trekking / elevation Gain 1900 m, Loss 1000m
Rfuge (the camp) –imlil–Marrakech After breakfast we start the long descent back to imlil. As usual we follow the old mule trails as they wend their way down the valley. At about lunchtime we arrive at Sidi Chamarouch (2310m) where there is a shrine set into a large white-painted rock and which attracts pilgrims from all over Morocco. The shrine is forbidden to non-Muslims but there are souvenir shops and cafes open to all! We continue down to Aroumd, an attractive village built on a rocky outcrop and surrounded by terraces with a rich variety of crops and fruit trees. Finally we arrive back in lmlil where our transport weighting to pick up and then we transfer back to Marrakech.
